July 8th, 2016

ASGB delivered a new 200kW Cummins QSL9 powered generator vehicle consisting of the generator pod, bespoke distribution locker, dual fuel tanks and rear mounted ASGB commercial body.  Built on the MAN TGM 18.250 specifically chosen by Cine Electric Ltd, the generator is reportedly the largest capacity mobile generation unit in Ireland.  The 18 ton vehicle contained the generator pod with Cummins QSL9-G3 and Mecc Alte ECO40 alternator combination.  ASGB designed the output locker to the bespoke distribution requirements of Cine Electric Ltd, using C-Form, 0.1BAC and 0.2BAC electrical connectors.  The body was fitted with a 1500kgs capacity rear lift plus the ASGB body had specific touches, such as rear mounted reversing camera and side mounted rigging lights added.  The vehicle was submitted and passed UK DVSA IVA requirements and was supplied to Ireland with this certification.

Michael O’Toole at Cine-Electric stated “We have been doing business with ASGB for 30 years, we were very impressed with the finish and performance of our latest  200kW Genset.  We have reinforced this relationship with a recent order for 2 x four wheel drive smaller rated gensets to increase our fleet capability.”
